Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build invoice-generation pipelines that resolve billing terms, calculate tiered and usage-based pricing, and assemble invoices using durable workflows.
- Develop invoice finalization and delivery workflows covering address resolution, tax calculation, ERP synchronization, credit application, Stripe autocharge, email delivery, retries, compensation, and recovery.
- Own the Stripe integration, including setup intents, configurable autocharge retries, payment method management, customer payment portals, payout reconciliation, and webhook handling.
- Work across backend services, data models, APIs, and frontend services while partnering closely with Product and Design.
- Investigate and fix production edge cases and design scalable, maintainable systems for complex financial workflows.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building web applications or backend services in production.
- Familiarity with modern backend languages and frameworks.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
- Experience working with APIs and relational databases.
- Ability to own systems end-to-end, maintain correctness and long-term reliability, and learn complex domains.
