Base Salary
$218k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support easy-to-use React and TypeScript applications
- Set standards for accessibility and design system usage
- Make technology decisions that support business needs while maintaining security, privacy, and quality
- Enhance existing systems with new functionality and improve performance, stability, quality, and security
- Improve code quality, make quality-of-life enhancements, and limit technical debt
- Maintain a user-centric mindset and develop deep user empathy
- Collaborate with design, product, machine learning, infrastructure, and other disciplines
- Mentor and learn from other engineers
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications
- 5+ years of experience with React
- Experience independently delivering a small web application or a complete feature in a larger web application
- Experience or interest in a mobile technology stack including React, TypeScript, and potentially Electron
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Comfort working across domains and languages with curiosity to experiment and learn
- Deep expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows
- Bonus experience with web audio playback, audio recording, file encryption, or online versus offline mode support
