Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Kotlin/Android interface connecting Aescape’s robots with customers and bodywork sessions.
- Collaborate with UX designers and robotics experts to communicate body intelligence insights through smooth user experiences.
- Build React/Next.js web applications that translate robotics telemetry into interfaces for partners and support staff.
- Integrate frontend applications with Go microservices across the full request lifecycle from API contract to user-facing state.
- Maintain frontend code quality, testing, architecture, state management, navigation, component systems, and development pipelines.
- Promote effective use of AI-assisted development and automated testing across the engineering team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency building production Kotlin mobile applications, ideally using Jetpack Compose and Gradle.
- Experience with modern UX application patterns including component libraries, form validation, data fetching, and server-side rendering.
- Solid understanding of REST API integration, authentication flows, and client-side state management.
- Experience with mobile release pipelines, CI/CD automation, and multi-environment deployment processes.
- Ability to iteratively ship to production and own quality from commit through customer experience.
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid arrangement at Aescape’s NYC office.
