Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build services to handle massive consumer traffic and data.
- Design performant, secure, scalable, and observable systems.
- Own systems end-to-end from design to operational excellence.
- Lead by example in engineering quality and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build appropriate abstractions.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders and provide concise updates.
- Operate with ambiguity and drive projects forward independently.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of infrastructure, backend, or systems engineering experience.
- Experience building and operating systems at significant scale in production.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud services (AWS/GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code tools.
- Ability to reason through scaling, reliability, and performance problems.
- High ownership and ability to drive projects end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills to keep stakeholders informed.
