- Architect and guide the design of a unified Go-based instrumentation service.
- Own the strategy for handling and improving instrumentation data quality.
- Coordinate mentorship and training initiatives with product development teams.
- Set reliability and turnaround standards for usage billing systems.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across research and development teams.
- Own key architectural choices balancing ease of use and reliability.
Requirements
- Extensive production experience with Go and architecting large-scale services.
- Demonstrated ability to design and own scalable backend systems.
- Deep expertise in system reliability, performance optimization, and data quality.
- Proven experience designing and owning scalable APIs.
- Experience coordinating initiatives across functional boundaries.
- Deep expertise in instrumentation, analytics, or similar foundational infrastructure.
