Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, upgrade, operate, scale, and harden enterprise AI and automation platforms across Dev, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Administer PostgreSQL and Redis tiers, including replication, high availability, backup and recovery, persistence, failover, pooling, and performance tuning.
- Engineer and operate Linux hosts, Docker containers, and Kubernetes-based application environments.
- Design, implement, and validate high-availability and disaster-recovery capabilities for platform data tiers.
- Build observability dashboards, alerts, runbooks, incident-response processes, and root-cause analyses.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, promotion workflows, Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code, and operational automation.
- Define and enforce platform engineering standards, hardening baselines, RBAC models, configuration governance, and security controls.
- Partner with InfoSec, Infrastructure, Network, and Identity teams on access reviews, secret rotation, control attestation, audits, vendor risk, and regulatory examinations.
- Document designs and standard operating procedures and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of platform or infrastructure engineering experience in an enterprise environment with a hands-on individual-contributor track record.
- Hands-on PostgreSQL administration experience covering replication, high availability, backup and restore, point-in-time recovery, connection pooling, and query or performance tuning.
- Hands-on Redis operational experience with Sentinel or Cluster, persistence, eviction policies, and queue or publish-subscribe workloads.
- Strong Linux administration experience and experience operating Docker and containerized applications; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Experience deploying, operating, and hardening enterprise platforms across multiple environments.
- Strong scripting or coding proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience integrating platforms with Entra ID or Azure AD for SSO/OIDC, RBAC, and group-based access.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or an equivalent.
- Experience with platform governance, security operations, change management, and audit support in a regulated environment such as financial services or healthcare.
- Strong written communication skills for runbooks, design documents, and standard operating procedures.
