Base Salary
$108k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of complex software components.
- Debug and troubleshoot advanced software issues.
- Write and maintain detailed code documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and standards.
- Integrate software with hardware systems.
- Define software requirements and specifications with stakeholders.
- Drive initiatives to improve software performance and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C# or Java.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred experience with Linux/RHEL and Windows services.
- Preferred knowledge of tactical/moving map software integration, hardware integration, and protocol development.
- Preferred aerospace and defense industry background.
- Preferred familiarity with C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash.
- Preferred experience with requirements tracking, code review, static analysis, library and artifact repositories, and automated build tools.
- Preferred knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral methodologies and data structures.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
