Base Salary

$108k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of complex software components.
  • Debug and troubleshoot advanced software issues.
  • Write and maintain detailed code documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Integrate software with hardware systems.
  • Define software requirements and specifications with stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives to improve software performance and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C# or Java.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred experience with Linux/RHEL and Windows services.
  • Preferred knowledge of tactical/moving map software integration, hardware integration, and protocol development.
  • Preferred aerospace and defense industry background.
  • Preferred familiarity with C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash.
  • Preferred experience with requirements tracking, code review, static analysis, library and artifact repositories, and automated build tools.
  • Preferred knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral methodologies and data structures.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
