Responsibilities

  • Write, modify, review, and optimize efficient, testable code across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
  • Integrate systems through APIs, messaging queues, and databases.
  • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications using containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Monitor production applications, investigate incidents, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Apply secure coding practices, manage secrets, validate inputs, and maintain robust authentication and authorization.
  • Design scalable microservices, data models, and distributed systems improvements.
  • Support regulatory compliance and maintain documentation for audits.

Requirements

  • Be based in Brazil and have English proficiency at B1 level or above.
  • Have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree or at least three years of work experience.
  • Have at least three years of experience with Java and/or Golang.
  • Have financial industry or payments experience and strong Java skills with adaptability to Golang.
  • Be an advanced Git user and perform thorough cross-domain code reviews.
  • Have experience with Swagger, flow diagrams, API documentation, and developer experience support.
  • Have proficiency with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, Codefresh, and related infrastructure and deployment integrations.
  • Have strong relational database design, non-relational data strategy, and data modeling skills.
  • Have proficiency in AWS and experience designing scalable microservices and resolving distributed-systems issues.
  • Preferred: experience with critical systems and understanding of observability practices including monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
