Responsibilities
- Design test plans and test data for functional and integration testing based on business and technical requirements.
- Create test plans for usability and performance testing based on non-functional requirements.
- Execute, monitor, and follow up on test sessions; report issues and perform quality checks after resolution.
- Analyze and execute regression tests to ensure code updates do not negatively affect existing features.
- Review test specifications, scenarios, scripts, and test data created by other team members.
- Document test plans, traceability matrices, daily test-session reports, and final test reports.
- Monitor and follow up on quality assurance metrics.
- Implement automated front-end functional tests using Selenium.
- Implement automated back-end tests using JUnit and API tests using Postman.
- Implement performance tests using Locust.
- Support releases by monitoring and stabilizing automated test execution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain and improve the existing automation suite.
Requirements
- A university degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a testing environment within cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of software testing disciplines, methodologies, and strategies.
- Hands-on experience developing scripts using scripting languages.
- Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium with Java.
- Experience with test management and tracking tools such as JIRA and Xray.
- Experience with SoapUI, GitHub, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, Certified Selenium Tester, or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certifications are highly valued.
