Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans and Master Prompts for AI-assisted test generation.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and AI agents that generate test suites.
- Own the internal AI-agent suite, including tuning, auditing, and context management.
- Configure risk-based quality gates that adjust strictness according to code-change risk.
- Build YAML test-data schemas and JSON contract definitions for self-service testing.
- Diagnose software defects, recommend corrective actions, support production systems, and participate in design reviews.
- Implement Golden Signals covering latency, traffic, errors, and saturation.
- Evaluate AI test quality, refine prompts, validate model outputs and fallback behavior, and measure AI cost and latency impacts on test pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Groovy/Spock and BDD test plans such as Gherkin.
- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and internal test libraries.
- Experience testing Kafka-based event-driven architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools including Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, and Redash.
- Coding proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with white-box and black-box testing.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code for test generation and automation is a strong plus.
