Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and reference architecture for B2B agentic commerce, including multi-agent topology and agent-to-agent communication.
- Design information barriers, authorization, identity, and isolated execution for agents representing different counterparties.
- Define MLOps architecture for agent tools, including training, environment promotion, model registry, serving, monitoring, and retraining.
- Establish engineering standards for agent quality and safety, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and model-risk evidence.
- Develop, review, debug, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality production software.
- Partner with platform, product, risk, and client-facing teams to integrate external agents and build reusable capabilities.
- Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Identify and automate recurring operational remediation opportunities and lead vendor and internal architecture evaluations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, with Python required.
- Experience architecting and shipping production LLM agents or multi-agent systems.
- Experience designing end-to-end ML platforms or MLOps pipelines.
- Expertise in secure distributed systems, including identity, authorization, and service-to-service trust.
- Experience leading AI-assisted software development and validating AI outputs.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, data sensitivity, secure engineering workflows, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency, security, and CI/CD practices.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
- Preferred experience with MCP, A2A, AG-UI, Google ADK, LangGraph, agent payment patterns, OpenFGA, OPA/Rego, service meshes, micro-VM isolation, Databricks, MLflow, Kubernetes model serving, GPU capacity planning, knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, optimization or negotiation models, and B2B payments.
