
Lead Software Engineer - Data - Agentic Commerce

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver trusted software solutions for B2B agentic commerce.
- Own production agents covering orchestration, negotiation, supplier onboarding, and outreach.
- Build training, testing, optimization, prediction, and serving paths for production ML models on Kubernetes.
- Design deterministic services and agent workflows for pricing, eligibility, and policy decisions.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
- Establish agent and model evaluation and observability through regression suites, scoring, traces, and performance monitoring.
- Prepare agents and models for model risk review with documentation, test evidence, and controls.
- Lead adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering tools and improve software delivery automation.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring operational issues.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced Python proficiency and proficiency in at least one additional language such as Java or TypeScript.
- Experience shipping LLM-based applications or agents to production, including tool calling, retrieval, and evaluation.
- Experience productionizing ML models through training pipelines, model registries, model CI/CD, and API serving.
- Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
- Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, data sensitivity, and secure data handling.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and agile delivery practices.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency, security, and CI/CD.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services and IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, micro-VM isolation, sidecar patterns, and multilayer security.
- Preferred experience with Google ADK, LangGraph, MCP, A2A, AG-UI, Databricks, MLflow, Spark, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, GPU workloads, fine-tuned small language models, optimization or pricing models, fine-grained authorization, and OpenTelemetry.
