Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services, scalable microservices, and APIs.
- Build automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Design and operate scalable cloud systems using AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Build internal monitoring, alerting, observability, and self-healing tools to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Develop highly available, resilient, and performant distributed systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Product Engineering teams on architecture, design reviews, and engineering improvements.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience building production-grade backend services.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of monitoring and observability platforms.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and working with API and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows, unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and modern development practices.
- Preferred: experience in large-scale SaaS environments, Kafka or Kinesis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, SRE or platform automation, and cloud security or compliance.
