Base Salary
$106k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications.
- Define application architecture, development standards, branching strategies, code review frameworks, and security best practices.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple development teams and drive architectural governance.
- Review critical code paths and ensure quality, performance, scalability, and security requirements are met.
- Advise client stakeholders and senior leadership, translating technical decisions into business outcomes.
- Mentor development leads and engineers, drive technical excellence, and manage architectural risks and technical debt.
- Ensure business-critical applications are delivered within timelines while meeting SLA and performance objectives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, OpenAPI/Swagger, and Angular 20.
- Hands-on full-stack development and solution architecture experience.
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST API design and integration, secure software development, system design, and performance engineering.
- Experience with code review, quality governance, CI/CD and DevOps practices, technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes and Docker; event-driven architecture; OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and SSO; SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Fortify; observability and monitoring tools; Agile/Scrum delivery; banking and financial services; enterprise integration patterns; and test automation frameworks.
