Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Design, write, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and raise concerns.
- Log and track bugs and verify fixes.
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and testing during development cycles.
- Support release activities, test summary reports, and documentation.
- Suggest improvements to testing efficiency and opportunities for future automation.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and understanding of story points, user stories, and sprint ceremonies.
- Good understanding of the software testing life cycle.
- Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Jira, Xray, or TestLink is a plus.
- Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an advantage.
- Hands-on API testing experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge or experience in the e-commerce domain is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.
