Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Translate product requirements and design specifications into responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Define frontend architecture, coding standards, reusable patterns, shared libraries, and design-system foundations.
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend systems.
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals, page-load performance, bundle size, runtime efficiency, reliability, security, and browser compatibility.
  • Write maintainable code supported by unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Review code, identify technical risks, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues using logging, monitoring, analytics, and observability tools.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend, quality assurance, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Contribute to technical planning, estimation, documentation, architectural decisions, workflow automation, and continuous delivery improvements.
  • Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and lead technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building production-grade frontend applications.
  • At least seven years of experience working with JavaScript and React.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and modern CSS.
  • Knowledge of React hooks, component composition, state management, routing, and rendering behavior.
  • Experience designing scalable frontend architectures and reusable component systems.
  • Knowledge of responsive design, browser compatibility, semantic HTML, and web accessibility.
  • Experience integrating applications with APIs and handling authentication, authorization, validation, caching, and error states.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testing.
  • Familiarity with frontend tooling, package managers, build systems, and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative code review.
  • Understanding of frontend performance optimization, application security, and production monitoring.
  • Experience with observability or application-monitoring platforms such as New Relic, Datadog, or Sentry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience working in an agile product-development environment.
  • Preferred experience with Next.js, GraphQL, server-side rendering, static-site generation, micro-frontend architectures, design systems, feature flags, experimentation, product analytics, high-traffic or regulated products, and mentoring engineers.
