Responsibilities
- Build and ship production software alongside experienced HubSpot engineers.
- Solve complex engineering problems that impact HubSpot customers.
- Contribute to backend, frontend, data, or systems infrastructure projects.
- Design, develop, test, and improve software collaboratively.
- Own meaningful projects and contribute ideas from development through delivery.
- Learn and apply new technologies and engineering practices.
- Communicate and collaborate with teammates on technical decisions and challenges.
Requirements
- Web development experience through coursework, independent projects, work experience, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Curiosity and motivation to learn new technologies and develop engineering skills.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Confidence taking ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in understanding HubSpot’s business, products, and culture.
- Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the full placement duration.
- Ability to work from an eligible location within the United Kingdom.
- Nice-to-have experience includes projects beyond coursework, experience with listed technologies, and ownership of a technical project or initiative.
Benefits
- Spring co-op placement starts between January and May 2027 and lasts a minimum of four months.
- Industrial placement starts in June or July 2027, requires a minimum nine-month course placement, and is offered as a maximum 12-month contract.
- Remote, hybrid, or onsite work options are available based on eligible HubSpot work options.
- Travel is not required, though office visits, a Product Summit, or team travel may be available depending on timing and business needs.
- Engineering hires must attend a regional HubSpot office for in-person onboarding.
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week in the United Kingdom.
