Base Salary
$132k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer and operate AI security platforms with preventive and detection policies governing AI usage and data protection.
- Assess AI assets across SaaS, cloud, endpoints, and infrastructure for misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and policy gaps.
- Deploy runtime protections against prompt injection, data leakage, jailbreaks, and malicious content.
- Enforce identity controls and guardrails for human and autonomous AI agents, including model integrity validation.
- Use AI observability telemetry to identify anomalous behavior and policy violations and drive remediation.
- Collaborate with GRC, IAM, IT, AppSec, Security Architecture, Endpoint, Identity, and SecOps teams on AI security requirements and standards.
- Track and report security posture trends and risk reduction progress to leadership and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of cybersecurity engineering experience with hands-on enterprise security platform deployment and operation.
- Experience with AI and ML risks including data exposure, shadow AI, prompt injection, supply chain risk, and model integrity.
- Hands-on experience with AI security platforms such as Palo Alto Prisma AIRS, Cisco AI Defense, Protect AI, Lakera, or Wiz AI Security.
- Familiarity with EDR, SIEM, DLP, SOAR, and NGFW platforms.
- Experience securing AI workloads across GCP, AWS, Azure, and SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with LLM gateways, MCP frameworks, RAG architecture, agentic workflow platforms, agent identity, token management, RBAC, and SSO.
- Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience contributing to or owning technical security standards or control frameworks and influencing remediation across teams.
- Strong communication skills for technical, executive, and audit audiences.
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, OWASP LLM Top 10, policy as code, and data governance tooling.
- Experience in semiconductor, hardware, or high-IP technology environments is preferred.
- Background in detection engineering, security architecture, security operations, AI red teaming, or adversarial machine learning is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a master’s degree and cybersecurity or cloud certifications are preferred.
Benefits
- Expected base pay is $131,540–$197,000 per annum, with eligibility for bonus and equity plans including new-hire equity and annual refreshers.
