Base Salary
$166k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship performant Postgres queries and Node.js APIs for the decision engine.
- Own the systems that allow clients to maintain lists for automatic flagging, blocking, or approving.
- Build and extend AI features that explain case flagging and recommend decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to clarify requirements.
- Participate in system design decisions for enterprise-scale rollouts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend services.
- Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Ability to gather requirements from ambiguous requests and iterate on solutions.
- Experience communicating directly with stakeholders to clarify project scope.
