Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning using Terraform and similar tools.
- Support configuration management using Chef.
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Container Apps.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
- Monitor security, performance, and availability of infrastructure and applications.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy infrastructure changes safely.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and operational resilience.
- Assist with cloud cost optimization.
- Provide operational support for the platform as part of an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Experience supporting Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with Docker containerization and cloud-native application deployments.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Chef.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
- Proficiency in automating workflows using scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with Git-based repositories and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with high-availability systems and microservice architectures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
