Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable build systems, core build libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker images
- Develop IDE extensions, CLI tools, integrations, and container-based workflows to improve the local develop-build-test loop
- Automate release and deployment processes to support rapid continuous deployment
- Implement safe deployment patterns such as canary releases, blue/green deployments, approvals, and environment promotion flows
- Extend paved-road tooling, environment scaffolds, secrets management, and automated provisioning for developer self-service
- Partner with product pods to embed reliability, incident response, and SLO ownership
Requirements
- 3–10+ years of experience in developer tooling or developer experience
- Experience building CI/CD systems, GitOps workflows, and monorepos
- Experience running production systems on AWS or Azure, including EKS, ECS, or AKS
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills with Terraform and Helm
- Observability experience covering metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and performance issues
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS and Azure is advantageous
- Exposure to Karpenter, Linkerd, or service mesh architectures is advantageous
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, HIPAA, or APRA-style compliance is advantageous
- Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas, Redis, or PostgreSQL cloud deployments is advantageous
