Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, stable, scalable payment software.
- Execute monthly or quarterly deployments and perform Product Lifecycle Management and Service Request activities.
- Support production issues through root-cause analysis and resolve breaks in debit and credit processes with Operations and other teams.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets and account for upstream and downstream system impacts.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages, database querying languages, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred qualifications include high-volume, low-latency data processing, REST APIs, MQ, Kafka, in-memory data grids, relational databases, front-end technologies, full-stack practices, cloud-native technologies, and distributed systems architecture.
