Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end application and infrastructure services that support reliable business operations.
  • Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets while proactively resolving reliability issues.
  • Manage incident, problem, root-cause analysis, change, and event-management processes.
  • Monitor production environments, analyze anomalies, and build alerting mechanisms to minimize downtime.
  • Design and maintain Dynatrace instrumentation for performance, infrastructure health, and user-experience monitoring.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for incident triage, troubleshooting, post-incident analysis, runbook drafting, and identification of recurring toil and reliability risks.
  • Communicate trends, issues, and proposed solutions to business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for SRE workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to assess AI-assisted operational recommendations for correctness and risk while maintaining resiliency, security, and auditability.
  • Experience with large-scale applications and infrastructure across on-premise and public cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and load balancing.
  • Hands-on production observability experience with monitoring, distributed tracing, log analysis, and instrumentation.
  • Strong Java and Spring Boot microservices experience, including event-driven patterns with Apache Kafka.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, GemFire/Geode distributed caching, Liquibase migrations, SQL, and database management.
  • Experience with Jenkins-based CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation for build, test, deployment, and release activities.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash/PowerShell, and Node.js.
  • Preferred experience with general-purpose programming languages or automation scripting, banking and payment domains, and SWIFT.
  • Ability to collaborate across geographies, manage multiple complex requirements, and adapt effectively.
