Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data architectures and pipelines for transferring and processing durable, complete, and consistent data.
- Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that meet data volume, velocity, and security requirements.
- Develop processing and analysis algorithms suited to data complexity and volume.
- Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
- Use Ab Initio for graph development, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Write and debug Unix/Linux shell scripts for job orchestration.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and complex analysis from multiple sources.
- Support SIT, E2E, and OAT testing cycles and track delivery through Agile processes.
- Advise stakeholders, identify risk mitigations, and strengthen controls, policies, and procedures.
- Lead teams or guide team members through complex collaborative assignments and communicate complex information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of experience required.
- Proficiency with Ab Initio GDE, EME, and Co>Operating System.
- Ability to write and debug Unix/Linux shell scripts.
- SQL and PL/SQL querying skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Familiarity with Tivoli Workload Scheduler or similar scheduling tools.
- Exposure to SIT, E2E, and OAT testing cycles.
- Experience using JIRA for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB or another document database is desirable.
- Experience with IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or similar messaging technologies is desirable.
- Awareness of access control, vulnerability assessments, and audit readiness is desirable.
