Responsibilities
- Create and deliver software solutions within defined work package areas while meeting stakeholder requirements.
- Establish, prioritize, and mature stakeholder needs to determine optimum technical capabilities.
- Develop high-quality, robust, documented, and configuration-managed code.
- Prepare plans and progress reports for the line manager.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain architecture alignment across the programme.
- Propose and drive solutions to emerging issues and support risk mitigation and opportunity definition.
Requirements
- Industry experience using C and/or C++.
- Good-quality industry experience working autonomously at a senior level.
- Experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with low-level driver development, NI TestStand, Visual Studio, or software for test-system environments is advantageous.
- Experience working within a software development process framework and with Agile development and the Atlassian toolset is advantageous.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools, defect tracking, and peer review.
- Ability to meet pre-employment BPSS screening requirements and, where applicable, National Security Vetting eligibility requirements.
