Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable VMware, Cloud, and Kubernetes environments.
Develop and implement on-prem OpenStack/VMware/Kubernetes solutions.
Collaborate with business unit owners to gather requirements for scalable architecture.
Implement automation tools and frameworks for streamlined operations.
Design and implement observability best practices.
Provide expertise in DevOps methodologies for continuous improvement.
Contribute to the deployment and troubleshooting of infrastructure.
Investigate enhancements to optimize environment efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation for private cloud architecture.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in the ecosystem.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Participate in the on-call schedule.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in managing large-scale VMware, OpenStack, or Kubernetes environments.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or GO.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automation tools.
Experience with observability tools like Elastic Enterprise, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Familiarity with Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Minimum of 5 years as an OpenStack/VMware/Kubernetes Engineer.
Recent experience with OpenStack Yoga and enterprise Kubernetes clusters.
Expertise in OpenStack components and virtualization technologies.
Experience providing infrastructure support for public clouds like AWS/Azure/GCP.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
