Responsibilities

Review cloud platform services and identify security challenges and potential threats.
Design, develop, and deliver security controls for cloud platforms.
Work with infrastructure engineers on the design and delivery of cloud services.
Serve as the security subject matter expert for cloud services.
Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and security testing.
Use cloud security posture management, SaaS security posture management, and infrastructure-as-code policy-as-code tooling.
Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes.

Experience working in enterprise cloud environments.
Experience building cloud infrastructure and using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and behavior-driven design.
Strong familiarity with security standards, security controls, and cloud security tooling.
Experience with CSPM/SSPM tooling and containers, particularly Kubernetes.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
Experience with Terraform Sentinel, Wiz, or similar infrastructure-as-code security tools.
Strong understanding of cryptography, modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, networking, and enterprise security architectures.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in the financial or regulated sector is desirable.
