Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, implement, and manage Citi’s global electronic mail and instant-message regulatory archive infrastructure.
- Govern Smarsh Enterprise Archive and related messaging compliance products, integrations, standards, operational models, and lifecycle processes.
- Partner with vendors and internal Legal, Compliance, Risk, Data Privacy, Operations, eDiscovery, business, and technology teams.
- Formulate vendor contracts, statements of work, service-level agreements, business cases, budgets, project plans, proofs of concept, deployments, and implementation plans.
- Ensure messaging products meet global legal, regulatory, retention, supervision, security, risk, and control requirements.
- Deliver engineering releases, test results, scripts, support documentation, performance management, service improvements, and Level 3 escalation support.
- Supervise adoption of new technologies and provide guidance to regional teams and business sectors globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Six to ten years of experience engineering and deploying electronic archive or messaging products in large-scale environments serving 100,000 or more users, preferably for a financial institution or comparable system.
- Experience testing and implementing regulatory archive, email, and messaging solutions according to industry best practices and corporate requirements.
- Previous project management experience using the ITIL model or an alternative IT service management framework.
- Understanding of SMTP RFC 5321 and RFC 2822, including transmission, formatting, routing, delivery, and acknowledgments.
- Experience with Smarsh, ZL, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams, and Proofpoint.
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of email and chat solutions, networking, firewalls, SMTP relays, cryptographic technologies, Windows and Linux platforms, web servers, directory services, messaging servers, databases, scripting, networking layers, message routing, bottleneck identification, trending, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience running large projects with responsibility for milestones, budgets, integrations, deployment, testing, and operational documentation.
