Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions.
- Develop web and mobile applications, particularly presentation-layer functionality using APIs and microservices.
- Write unit and automation test scripts within a test-driven development lifecycle.
- Contribute to coding best practices and support code merges and releases.
- Understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
- Comply with organizational policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java or Python and/or JavaScript for UI development.
- Experience with AngularJS, Angular, or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservice architecture and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Knowledge of REST, gRPC, and GraphQL API protocols.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle, coding practices, and testing best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
