Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate secure, reliable, scalable production software and services.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, define success metrics, and translate business needs into technical designs.
- Deliver customer solutions end-to-end by prototyping, iterating with feedback, and meeting quality, performance, and maintainability goals.
- Lead technical workstreams, align stakeholders, break down ambiguous problems, and drive execution through delivery.
- Build reusable components, reference implementations, and patterns for use across teams and engagements.
- Apply engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and Microsoft security and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, design, security, and domain experts in multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience partnering directly with customers or internal stakeholders to deliver solutions end-to-end.
- Preferred: Master's degree and 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience designing, deploying, and operating AI or LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented approaches, model tuning, evaluation, data quality, performance monitoring, and cloud AI platforms.
- Comfort with travel up to 25%.
