Responsibilities
- Own the implementation of a significant developer platform capability or set of capabilities.
- Design and develop capabilities using cloud-native open-source components, developer tooling, and AI.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and drive execution toward shared objectives.
- Set best practices for code health and production operations, including monitoring, frequent releases, and reliable CI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure production products and services.
- Experience with cloud technologies, GitHub Actions, VSCode, Kubernetes, Backstage, or related tools.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design, with analytical and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills for discussing features, investigating customer issues, and articulating next steps and blockers.
- Preferred: experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, LLMs, centralized developer platform teams, microservices, software delivery platforms, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and release management.

- Canada base salary range of CAD 120,500–136,000 per year.
