Base Salary

$86k - $106k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, develop, test, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable software products for the business.
  • Provide hands-on code reviews, development guidance, and enforcement of coding and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams on objectives, estimates, delivery plans, scope, consensus building, and solutions.
  • Develop and support integrations with other platforms for end-to-end business processing.
  • Author runbooks, deployment plans, systems architecture documentation, and other developer-friendly technical materials.
  • Provide end-user support and ongoing maintenance focused on service levels, customer service, and platform stability.
  • Coordinate software development resources and assist with IT planning exercises.
  • Work with DBA, IT Infrastructure, IAM, Operations, project leadership, and wider IT teams on shared initiatives and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • At least four years of software development experience within the insurance industry.
  • Technical proficiency in .NET, SQL Server, SSIS, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Angular, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, software frameworks, APIs, and robust scalable application development in complex environments.
  • Detailed understanding of cloud platforms.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and influence strategic change.
  • Strong collaboration, attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to understand complex concepts.
  • Ability to manage software development resources and contribute to IT planning.
