Responsibilities

Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservice architecture.
Design, develop, test and maintain systems representing logistics entities.
Collaborate with engineers to solve complex business and technical problems.
Work with business partners to distill complex problems into technical solutions.
Rapidly build and launch products, shipping to production multiple times a day.
Maintain high-quality standards by analyzing metrics and learning from post-mortems.

3+ years of experience writing software with a strong engineering background.
2+ years of design and architecture knowledge with familiarity in OOA/OOD.
Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Ruby, C, C++, Java, or Kotlin.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
A love for simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break.
Ability to convey technical ideas in common terms to various stakeholders.
Experience building large scale, high-performance systems in a distributed environment.
Understanding of performance tradeoffs and operational issues.
Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Aptitude for learning quickly.
