Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable iOS applications for banking, payments, lending, savings, and investment products.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, compliance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Build mobile applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks and develop intuitive user interfaces.
- Integrate applications with backend services, payment gateways, financial platforms, and third-party solutions.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data storage controls.
- Troubleshoot defects, production incidents, and performance issues.
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks.
- Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, technical design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS mobile-payment requirements, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, regulatory requirements, and organizational security policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of FinTech experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, the iOS SDK, and native iOS development.
- Experience with mobile application architecture and design patterns including MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Knowledge of FinTech products, payment systems, and digital wallet integrations.
- Expertise in secure coding, authentication, and mobile security best practices.
- Strong API integration and backend service connectivity skills.
- Ability to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, and regulatory compliance requirements.
