Responsibilities
- Create, develop, test, and maintain new Android application features across the full software development lifecycle.
- Maintain high standards for code quality and engineering quality.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, instrumented testing, end-to-end testing, pair programming, and test-driven development.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.
- Work collaboratively with engineers in Lagos and remotely across the globe.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in native Android development.
- At least 4 years of coding experience with Kotlin or Java.
- At least 2 years of experience with pair programming, test-driven development, and code reviews.
- At least 2 years of experience with unit tests, instrumented tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Ability to create clean, efficient, and high-quality code.
- Familiarity with multi-module applications.
- Comfort with Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines or RxJava.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively and understand their appropriate applications.
- Strong communication, teamwork, autonomy, initiative, and delivery orientation.
