Responsibilities
- Create, develop, test, and maintain new Android application features across the full software development life cycle.
- Maintain high standards for code quality and engineering quality.
- Work with multi-module applications, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines or RxJava.
- Participate in pair programming, code reviews, unit testing, instrumented testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams in Lagos and remotely across the globe.
- Use AI-assisted development tools appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in native Android development.
- At least 4 years of experience coding in Kotlin or Java.
- At least 2 years of experience with pair programming, TDD, and code reviews.
- At least 2 years of experience with unit tests, instrumented tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Ability to create clean, efficient, and high-quality code.
- Familiarity with multi-module applications.
- Comfort with Clean Architecture and Coroutines or RxJava.
- Strong familiarity with Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with strong communication skills.
