Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build systems combining security-relevant data, detection signals, context, and foundation models to detect and predict threats.
- Prototype and test AI features for event decoding, environment understanding, anomaly detection, and threat prediction with security experts and researchers.
- Develop an AIDevOps experimentation pipeline for knowledge bases, models, and context memory with measurable evaluation criteria.
- Architect and build a distributed platform correlating trillions of events and signals into explainable findings and alerts for triage and resolution agents.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams on scalable AI-enhanced threat detection and prediction workflows.
- Contribute to the architecture of AI-native security operations and trusted enterprise automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience or master's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
- Experience with storage systems and storage access layers.
- Experience with data platforms, data lakes and warehouses, or streaming platforms.
- Experience building scalable backend services, APIs, and automation workflows in Python or Go.
- Experience designing agent systems that perform coding tasks.
- Preferred experience building security data engineering pipelines for ingesting, parsing, and normalizing large-scale security telemetry.
- Preferred understanding of security operations, including attack surface management, threat analytics, detection, triage, investigation, and response, or equivalent Tier 3 SOC experience.
- Preferred hands-on experience implementing RAG or GraphRAG pipelines with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
- Preferred experience crafting, testing, and optimizing training workloads for large language or special-purpose models such as GNNs, GCNs, and GATs.
- Preferred experience shipping AI-powered features or products and integrating models into real-world workflows.
- Preferred ability to design experiments evaluating model accuracy, usability, performance, and cost.
