Base Salary

$95k - $161k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with U.S. government agencies to diagnose and resolve complex GitLab issues.
  • Perform technical investigations using Linux command-line tools and GitLab internals.
  • Create and update documentation based on customer interactions to improve self-service.
  • Participate in pairing sessions with other Support Engineers to share knowledge.
  • Contribute to building internal support tools and workflows for efficient issue resolution.
  • Provide emergency support during on-call rotations for compliance-focused environments.
  • Support team growth by participating in hiring discussions and reviewing applications.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government security requirements.
  • Experience managing customer-facing cases throughout the support lifecycle.
  • Strong Linux systems administration knowledge for troubleshooting performance issues.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered developer tooling and gateway architectures.
  • Ability to use scripting languages like Ruby or Bash for issue investigation.
  • Practical experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Skill in creating clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • Ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and container orchestration technologies.
  • Understanding of information security and compliance concepts.
