Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performant backend systems for the FollowScores app.
- Own technical solutions and hands-on delivery from development through live deployment.
- Lead a small team of developers in designing and developing solutions from start to finish.
- Apply governance to solution design and set standards for code quality and delivery.
- Estimate work, produce solution documents, and ensure accurate effort and delivery expectations.
- Understand the technical structure, domain, and architecture of the team’s systems.
- Distribute knowledge and mentor and coach team members.
- Develop reliable, high-availability systems supporting multiuser and service-based applications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Golang, Redis, and GCP, with expertise in similar or alternative technologies also considered.
- Experience leading development teams and delivering technical projects to successful completion.
- Ability to mentor and coach staff.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- A proven record of high-availability, multibrowser-compatible development.
- Experience working with high-availability, multiuser, and service-based systems.
