Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Generative AI platforms, applications, and services using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Support the scalability, integration, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation of AI capabilities across Citi business units.
- Collaborate with data science, technology, business, architecture, infrastructure, risk, and control stakeholders on AI use cases and governance.
- Resolve complex technical and business problems and contribute to coding standards, testing methods, debugging practices, and implementation strategies.
- Manage contributions across multiple concurrent initiatives, work with external vendors and startups, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of progressive hands-on Python engineering experience developing scalable platforms, applications, and services.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering complex backend solutions and services into production.
- Experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face, plus Node.js frameworks such as Express and NestJS and TypeScript.
- Understanding of Generative AI systems, AIOps, application monitoring and evaluation, cloud architectures, and public cloud offerings.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML technologies and experience with software development agents, CI/CD pipelines, software testing, and code reviews.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, documentation, and strategic skills, with the ability to learn technologies and manage changing priorities.
- Financial industry experience is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience, is required.
Benefits
- Full-time position based at Citi’s primary location.
- Salary range of $94,300.00 to $141,500.00.
