Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate developer pain points into adopted golden paths, templates, and shared platform capabilities.
- Lead the architecture and delivery of a capability area or agent workstream used by multiple teams.
- Build and operate agent and code-generation tooling that connects services to identity, secrets, observability, and safe-deployment foundations.
- Own production delivery, including on-call, regression detection, configuration-drift remediation, and integration-failure resolution.
- Improve platform availability, reliability, observability, and performance.
- Mentor engineers and uphold a platform-as-a-product approach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field plus 6+ years of technical engineering experience coding, or equivalent experience.
- Production-scale engineering experience building and operating systems.
- Production experience building software with generative AI and agents.
- Depth in identity, secrets/configuration, observability, or CI/CD and safe deployment, with working knowledge of the other areas.
- Cloud-native experience, preferably with Azure, and fluency in C#/.NET, TypeScript, or Python.
- Master’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of experience, is preferred.
- Experience with Azure and modern .NET or comparable cloud-native stacks is preferred.
- Experience building internal developer platforms, paved roads, CI/CD systems, or cloud infrastructure at scale is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security-screening requirements.
Benefits
- Base pay is listed at USD $142,800–$274,800 per year across the U.S.; a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City range is USD $188,000–$304,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
