Responsibilities
- Design backend solutions for billing and energy market operations.
- Scale core infrastructure for increasing transaction volumes and changing market demands.
- Ship backend features and improvements through rapid iteration.
- Contribute to code reviews and architecture decisions.
- Mentor teammates and help raise technical standards.
- Integrate Stripe payments and billing workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on backend development experience, including recent production coding and shipping.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, including asynchronous programming.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM-based data access such as Drizzle or a similar tool.
- Experience building backend services with Next.js, including API routes or server components.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable, maintainable core services.
- Strong computer science fundamentals gained through formal education or equivalent practical experience.
- Evidence of notable technical achievement.
- German fluency at C1 level or above, strong communication skills, and an ownership mindset.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of €80,000 to €120,000.

- On-site work in Berlin, Germany, five days per week.
