Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Golang or Python and frontend applications using React.
- Design and evolve APIs, event-driven workflows, and Kafka-based integrations with internal platforms, external Warehouse Management Systems, and logistics platforms.
- Partner with Product Managers, engineers, and operational stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Make technical decisions within owned features and contribute to broader architecture and design discussions.
- Own the complete software lifecycle, including design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, observability, and production operation.
- Investigate production issues and improve system reliability, performance, resilience, and observability.
Requirements
- Professional experience building and operating production software and independently owning features from problem understanding through production delivery.
- Strong experience with at least one backend programming language; Golang or Python is particularly relevant.
- Experience building modern web applications using React or comparable technologies and integrating them with backend APIs.
- Understanding of software design principles, REST APIs, relational databases, automated testing, and technical trade-offs.
- Experience or good understanding of distributed and event-driven systems and production infrastructure such as Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
- Collaborative and proactive engineering mindset, willingness to work across the stack, share knowledge, use modern development practices, and use AI-assisted tooling responsibly.
