Base Salary
$150k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing features across SoundCloud’s desktop and mobile web surfaces
- Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate coding workflows, code reviews, and testing
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and distributed international engineering teams
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning
- Optimize web application performance and debug complex cross-browser issues
- Advocate for accessibility, testing, and frontend metrics best practices
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of professional experience building modern, large-scale web applications
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript, React, and modern web tooling such as Next.js and Vite
- Understanding of web performance optimization, responsive design, and web accessibility standards
- Interest in using advanced AI development assistants to improve productivity and code quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile, distributed environment
- Passion for user experience and mentoring peers
- Openness or curiosity toward iOS, Android, or backend technologies such as Go is a plus
