Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams on software architecture, best practices, and technology choices.
- Oversee projects from concept through production delivery.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Set technical direction, make high-stakes decisions, and lead complex large-scale projects.
- Lead product delivery as a product owner and drive the product vision with engineering teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SaaS applications.
- Drive innovation, AI modernization, automation, and improvements to software engineering practices.
- Balance short- and long-term product goals while maintaining quality, compliance, and customer focus.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of .NET full-stack development or software development experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in .NET and multiple programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with containerization, infrastructure as code, and software delivery pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems and data architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and set technical direction.
- Experience leading complex, large-scale projects and demonstrating architectural design and technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, engineering toolchains, and cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
