Base Salary
$180k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across the agent platform.
- Design and build early versions of agent-driven products and internal systems.
- Establish patterns and infrastructure for reliable agent deployment.
- Collaborate with company leaders to set the vision and execute the development roadmap.
- Define architecture for building and scaling agent systems across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience in an agentic startup, frontier AI lab, leading hedge fund, big tech team, or similar environment.
- Strong familiarity with LLMs, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; TypeScript, Go, or Rust experience is a bonus.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying multi-agent systems in production.
- Expertise in agent orchestration, tool calling, context window management, and agent grounding.
- Hands-on experience anticipating failure modes and using observability and evaluation for agent systems.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and personal or professional interest in investing.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with agent safety, sandboxing, and guardrail design is preferred.
- Experience partnering with researchers or quantitative developers is preferred.
- Experience with unstructured financial data and financial data providers such as Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, and Refinitiv is preferred.
