Base Salary

$170k - $196k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics and implement proactive improvements to performance and availability.
  • Participate in on-call duty for production uptime and support customer escalations.
  • Manage releases, upgrades, maintenance activities, hotfixes, and infrastructure updates.
  • Lead incident response and resolution, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and document post-incident reviews.
  • Implement cloud security best practices and controls while supporting regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure and service reliability, scalability, and efficiency through automation and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role, focused on AWS and/or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud compute, storage, networking, and security infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Go for automation and infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • AWS or Azure certifications, such as AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Azure Security Engineer, are preferred.
