Base Salary
$160k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and implement applications that interact with surgical robots and the data they generate.
- Identify opportunities to reduce software-development friction and increase engineering velocity.
- Lead the expansion of internal telemetry and observability tools.
- Educate internal development teams on how to use available tooling effectively.
- Collaborate across engineering and organizational teams to improve development productivity and product delivery.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Computer Science or an adjacent technical field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree.
- Expert-level knowledge of Python.
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of engineers.
- Preferred experience building developer tools and working with Linux.
- Preferred experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS, with Lambda experience as a plus.
- Preferred experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or other data-processing tools.
- Preferred experience with Docker development and deployment workflows.
