Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 4.
- Build Apache Kafka event-streaming solutions for data consumption, transformation, enrichment, publishing, and change detection.
- Manage MySQL integration and persistence, including query optimization, event updates, and change-data capture or detection patterns.
- Deploy scalable, highly available applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS using resilient and fault-tolerant design practices.
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing and collaborate with DevOps on delivery.
- Refactor legacy code for integration with modern cloud and mobile applications.
- Guide and mentor offshore development teams over the long term.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience delivering complex, scalable, and robust software solutions.
- Strong coding skills in Java, Python, and .NET, with excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, XML/JSON, data mapping, and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging queues, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and development methodologies.
- Preferred: certification in one or more hyperscalers, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
