Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements for complex scenarios.
- Provide technical leadership for identifying dependencies and developing design documents for tools, services, and platforms.
- Lead by example and mentor engineers in producing extensible and maintainable code.
- Lead project plans, release plans, and work items across multiple products.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual and participate in on-call monitoring for system, product, or service degradation and interruptions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance while driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master's degree and 6+ years of technical engineering experience, bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years of engineering experience with distributed systems and demonstrated problem-solving and system design skills.
- Preferred: 3+ years of engineering experience with Computer Architecture or High-Performance Computing.

- The position includes a stated U.S. base pay range, with different ranges applicable to the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
