Responsibilities
- Develop and refine ML models critical to Snowflake’s business.
- Design metrics and experiments to validate insights and evaluate model quality.
- Develop LLM- and agent-based architectures, including fine-tuning, clustering, summarization, and embeddings.
- Implement Java and Python services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes.
- Build intelligent workflows that automate manual processes and support technical experts.
- Identify problems, instrument relevant components, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with product management, design, partner teams, and external developers.
- Contribute to product vision and team planning while proposing improvements to existing models.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of working ML experience.
- Interest in state-of-the-art LLM-based solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and an interest in working with diverse peers and external developers.
- Enjoyment of building software and learning new technologies.
